A body authorized in the UK under the Financial Services Act (1986) to sell financial instruments, with the approval of the Financial Services Authority The seven RIEs are the London Stock Exchange, London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange (LIFFE), International Petroleum Exchange, London Metal Exchange, European Derivatives Exchange (EDX) London, virt-x, and London Securities and Derivatives Exchange (OMLX).
